Vision

The complex use of microcontrolled equipment (i.e. software-dependent electronic devices) in the digital era often makes modern technology unapproachable for some people or insufficiently exploited for others.Low Cognitive Impact

Mechanical and electromechanical instruments and devices have been part of our cultural heritage for a long time. Usually, we easily learn how to use them in a short time (by simply looking at them and doing some practice): they have a low cognitive impact.

High Cognitive ImpactOn the contrary, software-controlled equipment entered our life few years ago and are all but self-explaining. We strive and spend a lot of time to learn how to use them: they have a high cognitive impact.

Therefore, hardware and software designers are required to eliminate the gap between their products and the world of every day people who use them, not the opposite.

Mission

Tertium TechnologyThe target of TERTIUM Technology is to develop electronic equipment and application programs which are both technologically advanced and easy to use, so that people’s approach to modern technology can be as natural as possible.

TERTIUM Technology designers pay special attention to interaction design, striving to best satisfy the need of the people who will use the product (usually, our buyer/partner’s customer).

The purpose is to design the man-machine interaction from the earliest product specifications in order to make the use of electronic equipment easy, friendly and satisfactory to the final user’s needs. The aim is to minimize the learning attempt (or cognitive impact) and allow the user to interact with the machine on the basis of his/her skills and habits.
